When you work with me, you’ll learn how to

  • Uncover what’s triggering deep, heavy emotions
  • Respond instead of reacting to the world around you
  • Draw on the wisdom of your nervous system to rebuild trust in your body
  • Move through life more deeply connected to yourself and others

My clinical background and training allow me to navigate trauma with skill and expertise, while my mystical and integral understandings allow me to navigate healing and help from deeper and wiser sources. I serve others from my essence and wisdom, offering what resides most deeply in my heart. The healing I’ve experienced personally has offered me a psychologically and spiritually sound foundation from which our work will flow.

I welcome you to reach out if you are looking to commit deeply to yourself – to your healing, growth, and transformation.

I listen closely to each individual and support his or her unique ability to heal by utilizing the wisdom of their mind, body, and soul. My approach is grounded in the belief that each person possesses innate, inner resources he/she/they can use to heal, grow, thrive, and fully connect with their soul to become the whole person that they are meant to be.

My service is the work of the soul.

My work and approach are characterized by intuition, compassion, optimism, and collaboration with your soul and the somatic truth of your body. I incorporate active and compassionate listening, collaborative exploration, and a ready sense of humor. I take an Integrative approach with each person I work with, utilizing different modalities to address resolution of trauma, anxiety, depression and soul growth. I help people learn how to describe and sense into their bodies to relate to feelings, thoughts, sensations, and behaviors. Once we know the language of the body, we can start to allow the energy of what is being stuck in cellular memory to begin to move and release. There is also an emphasis on resourcing as activated feelings arise, which results in a titrated movement allowing each person to stay within their window of tolerance.

My areas of interest and expertise include:

  • Somatic Experiencing
  • Parts work
  • Energy healing
  • spiritual life coaching
  • teaching
  • soul retrieval
  • Guided Meditation
  • EMDR
  • Emotional Freedom Technique
  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy

I have over 27 years of experience teaching and sharing with others in these areas.

I am licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Massachusetts, and South Carolina.

With 70% of Americans having experienced some sort of trauma in their lifetime, it is vital that we explore strategies that prohibit retraumatization within a number of spaces.

As your therapist, I will do my best to foster a safe space for you as possible. I do, however, understand that only you can define what truly is a safe space. If I say anything that puts the safety of this space in danger, I encourage you to bring it up to me either during or after our session together. Clients are experts in their own experience, and it is important for them to feel heard about their experience during the session.

One of my goals for all of my clients is for them to feel empowered during therapy. One of the ways I try and foster this is to welcome their opinions and viewpoints during sessions together, even if they are different from my own. Their insights are valuable because they provide more context when it comes to how they live their day-to-day lives. I may have a sense of what their lived experience is like, but only they can tell their own story.
